RI disabled services provider marking anniversary

A nonprofit organization that provides services to the disabled in Rhode Island is marking its 30th anniversary with an open house that is expected to draw top state officials.

West Bay Residential Services, Inc. provides more than 130 adults throughout the state in-home support like cooking and cleaning at group facilities, help finding employment and assistance becoming more active in the community.

The open house is scheduled to be held at West Bay Residential's main offices in Warwick on Thursday evening.

Among those expected to attend are Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts, Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Kilmartin, Secretary of State Ralph Mollis and General Treasurer Gina Raimondo.
