A nonprofit organization that provides services to the disabled in Rhode Island is marking its 30th anniversary with an open house at 5 p.m.
West Bay Residential Services, Inc. provides more than 130 adults throughout the state in-home support like cooking and cleaning at group facilities, help finding employment and assistance becoming more active in the community.
The open house, which runs through 8 p.m., is being held at West Bay Residential's main offices at 158 Knight St. in Warwick and is expected to draw some top state officials.
Among those expected to attend are Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts, Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Kilmartin, Secretary of State Ralph Mollis.
